SUMMER SEA SCHOOL, a complete success!
Nautical activities combined with English language organised by the Club Nàutic L’Escala and the Yes! Language School of L’Escala.
For many years the Club Nàutic L’Escala and the Yes! Language School organised their own summer schools independently.
This summer, in 2014, they have decided to join forces and offer a nautical summer school with activities in English. The children, aged 4 to 13, are exposed to English for 2 to 4 hours per day, doing fun activities, from clay, paper and painting workshops to theatre plays, songs and even cooking with help from Luciano, Amy, Jessica and Sama. When they have finished, the yacht club supervisors entertain them with activities such as kayak, beach games, snorkelling or sailing in the afternoons.
During these first three weeks, over 55 boys and girls have attended these courses on the premises of the sailing school, and we are confident that most of them will come back next year and that many others will want to join us too.
